In France: Innovation Mornings in Paris
With its 150 events worldwide, Innovation Week 2016 will further underline the vitality of ENGIE Group innovation. Every morning between 9 and 11 in Paris, an Innovation roundtable discussion will be chaired by Academician Erik Orsenna and broadcast via the ENGIE OpenInnov by ENGIE platform.
The following topics will be addressed during these sessions:
- Monday, June 6, 2016: Companies: driving performance through innovation
- Tuesday, June 7, 2016: The new age of renewables
- Wednesday, June 8, 2016: The city v.3.0.
- Thursday, June 9, 2016: Reinventing our daily lives
- Friday, June 10, 2016: New developments in gas
The 2016 ENGIE Innovation Awards ceremony will begin at 6 pm on Tuesday, June 7. This annual event has been rewarding the Group’s most innovative people for 30 years!
For the third year running, ENGIE is also partnering the Futur en Seine festival, where the Group will also be showcasing its innovations.
Internationally: major events in some 25 countries
ENGIE is a corporate group of international stature, and has set itself the clear goal of leading the energy transition worldwide by driving innovation. With some 25 countries involved, Innovation Week will reflect this global reach.
Here are just some of the events to be hosted worldwide:
- ENGIE Brazil Innovation Day in Rio de Janeiro on June 6. Free and open to the public, its aim is to promote the culture of innovation and identify innovative practices for industry professionals working in Brazil.
- The CSR & Innovation Roadshow in Birmingham on June 6 will be an interactive workshop designed to involve employees in the issues of Corporate Social Responsibility and Innovation.
- The #ENGIEInnov Talk on June 6 in Singapore will focus on the use of hydrogen as an energy storage solution of the future.
